Hi, I’m Regina! I’m a UX Designer who was born in Seoul, grew up in Washington, DC, and am enjoying life in San Francisco. I’m Korean-American and have parents who aren’t fluent English speakers. I’ve lived most of my life translating for my parents so it’s important to me to help create a product that anyone of any age or background can learn easily.

My 15 years of experience in the hospitality and event planning industry has helped me with anticipating various client’s needs by thinking of their user flow as we planned their meetings. I am adept at listening to each client’s wants and needs. It was my job to take my client’s requests, translate them into hotel verbiage for my colleagues in the other departments at the hotel so that their team could successfully achieve each request. My repeat clients includes Johnson&Johnson, National Basketball Association, Versant Ventures, Dreamforce, and Game Developers Conference.

Besides being a great listener, I take great pride in my communication skills. I am a think-before-you-speak type of person so when I have something to say it has been thought about for quite some time but also thought about how the other person or people will react or respond. It is very important to me that I communicate my words and messages correctly so everyone can work together easily.

It’s my passion to peel the ‘onion’ and uncover the layers of how and why. You know the person who likes to ask, "Why?" That's me! What gets me excited about UX Design is that I get to hear other people’s stories, learn why people do what they do, problem solve, and help create products that people will enjoy.

If I’m not out and about enjoying the day with my family or driving around the SF Bay Area then you can find me listening to BTS (the music group!), listening to audiobooks, watching the Golden State Warriors play, and traveling around California, Hawaii, and South Korea.
